Maurice
Eloy is a member of the Brussels bar since 1972 and of
the Liège bar since 2006.
He is director and professor at the Ecole Supérieure
des Sciences Fiscales (ICHEC) and professor of Tax law
at the Facultés Universitaires Catholiques de Mons
(FUCAM). He also chairs the editing board of the Revue
générale de fiscalité as well as
the Tax Commission of the Brussels bar. He has spoken
at many seminars end conferences and is the author of
a large number of books and articles.
Marc
Wagemans is a member of the Brussels bar since 1969. He
obtained a further degree in economic law in 1970 and
a further degree in shipping and aviation law in 1972.
In the meantime he also graduated with a Master of Laws
(LLM) from Harvard Law School in 1971. He was Chairman
of the Brussels Bar Young Lawyers Association in 1985-1986,
a member of the Brussels Bar Council from 1986 to 1989
and Head of the Brussels Bar (bâtonnier) from 2000
to 2002. He is chairman of the Disciplinary Council of
the Brussels Court of Appeal district since 2006.
Michel
Pierreux became a member of the bar in Liège and
then in Brussels in 1967. He has a further degree (DES)
in tax law. He was a member of the Brussels Bar Council
from 1991 to 1994.
Charles
Price is a member of the Brussels bar since 1973.
He was the first British national to be admitted to the
Brussels bar. Born in England, he is a law graduate in
both English and Belgian law. He is a director of CEPANI,
a member of the Swiss Arbitration Association and an accredited
mediator with the Brussels Business Mediation Centre.
Edgard
van der Straeten is a member of the Brussels bar since
1988 and of the Liège bar since 2006.
In 1987 he specialized in business law at the Vrije Universiteit
Brussel.
Luc Van Caneghem obtained a post-graduate degree in business law in 1990 and a Master of Laws (LLM) at King's College London in 1991. He assists clients
with commercial agreements, specifically intellectual property and technology agreements, and in the area of company law.
Olivier
Louppe is a member of the Brussels bar since 1991.
In 1980 he obtained a further degree in European law at
the Institut d’Etudes Européennes in Brussels.
Olivier LANGLET has been a lawyer at the Brussels bar since 1 September 1994.
In 1994, he obtained a master in social law at the Université Libre de Bruxelles.
Since 2001, he has been rewarded with the degree of specialist in social law by the Frenchspeaking branch of the Law Society of the Brussels bar.
From 2000 to 2008, he was assistant in detailed labour law at the Faculty of the Institut des Sciences du Travail and subsequently at the Law Faculty at the Université Libre de Bruxelles.
He also acted from 2002 to 2008 as a deputy judge at the Labour Court of Nivelles and of Wavre.
For a long time, he has been a member of the Social Law Lawyers’ Association.
He is the author of numerous articles and animates regularly at seminars and trainings with regard to labour law and social security law.
Guillaume
David is a member of the Brussels bar since 1995.
In 1995 he obtained a further degree (DES) in insurance
law and economics.
Laurent
Verbraken is a member of the Brussels bar since 1995.
For the last ten years he has also led training sessions
in communication, negotiation and advocacy skills. Since
2005 he is the Managing Partner of CEW & Partners.
Jean
Laurent is a member of the Brussels bar since 1998. In
1997 he obtained a certificate in legal studies from the
University of Aberdeen. He is a regular speaker at seminars
on administrative law.
Jean Laurent is a member of the public law committee of the Law Society.
Marie-Pierre Donea is a member of the Brussels bar since
2000.
In 1999 she obtained a further degree in tax studies from
the Ecole Supérieure des sciences Fiscales.
She began her career as a tax inspector with the Belgian
VAT Administration.
She speaks regularly at seminars on tax maters.
Since
2004 Caroline Grisard has been a lawyer at the Brussels
bar.
In 2003, she obtained the diploma of Master in Law at
the Université Libre de Bruxelles and during the
academy year 2002-2003, she completed an Erasmus year
at the Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam.
Christelle Wils began her career at the Brussels Bar in 2003 before joining, in 2007, an auditing and consulting firm as a tax consultant. Since 2010 she has joined the team of Me Maurice Eloy. She graduated with a law degree from the Université Libre de Bruxelles in 2002 and in 2007 she obtained her Special Master in Tax Management from the Solvay Business School.
Cédric Marcus has been a lawyer at the Brussels bar since January 2007.
After graduating in law at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven in 2006, he obtained a degree in specialised studies fiscal law at the Université Libre de Bruxelles in 2008. As his specialisation lies in fiscal matters, he collaborates with Mr. Maurice Eloy.
Gilles Bataille has been a lawyer at the Brussels Bar since 2008.
In 2008, he obtained a complimentary mast in public and administrative law at the Université Libre de Bruxelles.
Sophie Poncin has been a lawyer at the Brussels Bar since 2008.
In 2009, she will be joining the CEW & Partners law firm, accompanied by Mr. Olivier Langlet with whom she will collaborate, mainly with regard to social law.
